Local ATCC Terms and Conditions

The following applies to Singapore customers, for not-for-profit organizations ONLY.

ATCC has set up an out-licensing program that allows companies to use ATCC products for commercial purposes under a non-exclusive licensing agreement. Refer HERE for more information.

1. Bio-REV Pte. Ltd. is the appointed sole distributor of ATCC bio-products in Singapore. First time ATCC customer must apply an account with ATCC prior in placing an ATCC order with us.
   • You must be able to demonstrate that your expertise and institution’s facilities (Biological Safety Levels 1, 2 or 3) are appropriate for handling the biological materials.
   • You are required to submit the appropriate Bio-REV/ATCC New Account Application form, together with the signed Material Transfer Agreement (MTA) by an authorized representative of your institute and supporting documents to us. You must agree to the terms of ATCC’s MTA before ordering.
2. All ATCC orders, including product and troubleshooting enquiries must submit through us.
   • Our weekly order to ATCC order is on every TUESDAY BY 12 PM NOON TIME, unless otherwise advised, due to holidays or office shut down. Official POs or an email confirmation must reach us before that.
   • Detailed end-user information MUST be provided (Name of organization, full address, contact numbers, the Principal Investigator’s full name/email address including specific user’s full name and email address) at the point of order. Failure in doing so, your order might be rejected by ATCC.
   • Re-exporting of ATCC bio-products materials out of Singapore is strictly NOT allowed, as indicated in the MTA stipulated in the Agreement. For transferring of any ATCC material, you are required to write in to us.
3. All applicable air freight and local clearance charges (e.g. import permits and necessary custom documentations) are for ONE single shipment to Singapore only, irregardless of how many items order.
   • All Bio-REV’s ATCC quotations EXCLUDES any unannounced charges arising from Special Handling and/or any applicable Permit/Licensing Fees (e.g. CITES, USWFS, AVA License, etc.) required for importing controlled species to Singapore. You are deemed to accept and bear these additional charges.
   • In the event of split shipments due to insufficient stocks or any unforeseen circumstances, you agree to pay, in full, such additional shipping/clearance charges incurred for the second and/or subsequent shipments in order to complete the order.
   • Cancellation of ATCC order is subjected to ATCC’s sole discretion and approval.
   • We reserved the rights to amend these charges without prior notification.
4. Normal delivery time is ~2 – 3 weeks from date of Bio-REV’s order to ATCC, subjected to stocks availability and unforeseen custom delays.
   • Estimated delivery time will extend to ~4 – 8 weeks out of stock situation and backorders, subjected to ATCC shipment advice to us.
   • For CITES and USWFS controlled items, delivery is commonly expected up to ~6 – 12 months waiting period, subjected to USWFS and AVA’s approval.
5. A 30 day ATCC warranty period applies to all ATCC orders, from the date of delivery.
   • Any inquiry must be raised together with the appropriate Troubleshooting Questionnaire to Bio-REV Technical Support Department.
   • In event when ATCC authorized a One-time ONLY courtesy replacement of culture subjected to ATCC technical review and assessment, a local clearance and delivery applies. You are deem to accept and bear such costs.
